With over 35 years in the transportation industry, John owned Eagle Delivery Service in Boston, specializing in on demand courier work, air freight and later distribution and logistics services. Now retired, John remains at the heart of some of the industries largest associations. Filling the void in the marketplace, John and several key associates founded the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas (MCAA) in 1982, and he served as first president until 1991. In addition, he has been active in the ECA since 1994, serving as president in 1996, and now as a member of the board. To keep close to the industry, he is presently an Ambassador for Mark IV Transportation and Logistics out of Bergin NJ, specializing in a full suite of distribution and logistics capabilities serving the Eastern seaboard. John and his wife Gail live in Norwell, MA and have two daughters and two grandsons.
