Jack began his industry career as a driver while pursuing his degree in Criminal Justice in 1977. After twenty-four years in the industry with three national transportation companies, Jack joined Capital Express in Omaha, Nebraska, a company with business relationships in eight Midwestern states. He has been with Capital Express for eight years, progressing from Operations Manager to his current position of President.

Jack has also received several local, regional and national awards, including:

• Overall highest rated service by customer surveys (Regional)
• Most improved Branch performance (National)
• Branch Manager of the Year (Regional)
• Outstanding Performance by a Branch (National)
• Appointed to National Labor Relations (Union) Bargaining Unit (National)

Jack was elected to the Board at the 2009 Marketplace. He states "I am passionate about the format of the ECA and the opportunities it presents to its members. I look forward to working with the Board to further the success for the members and the entire organization."
