John attended Stephen F Austin State University where he studied education. He went to work in the transportation industry in 1981 with City Wide Delivery in Dallas, TX. In April of 1984, John and his parents John & Mary Ellen started US Courier, Inc. In the past 25+ years John has served in about every capacity in the company.

US Courier & Logistics has been active in the ECA for several years. John joined the board in 2006 to give back to the association.
